Whilst designers like clothes to look great, their prototypes are designed on a size 8s (Aus) – the typical model size. So of course the clothes are going to look best on this size person. As we all know, however, most women don’t really have such figures (as much as we might like to!). Using “real” women will give a much better idea for the consumer on how the clothes will look and maybe pull up the fashion world a bit to make more realistic, flattering designs for more body shapes!
