How to get twittering in no time at all.

1. Go to: twitter.com
Sign up – your name, username and email address. That’s it!

2. Go to settings – Here you can add bio information, your website URL, and you can change the design.

3. Find people! – If you don’t know anyone who twitters -

wefollow.com (find people who match your interests. Add yourself to the directory too.)
search.twitter.com
(Try the ‘advanced search’ for more options)
Or simply try Google -
eg. site:twitter.com location sydney australia
eg. site:twitter.com bio stay at home mum

4. Other bits

How do I add people?
All you do is click the follow button on a person’s profile, and you’re following them! People can then start following you back. You’ll see all their tweets in the tweet bar on your home page.

What does RT mean?
When you see something like RT @aussiegirl This is going to be great day -
The RT means ReTweet
It simply means that you are repeating what someone else has said – in this case, aussiegirl. It’s a way of helping other people’s messages be seen.

How to reply to someone?
Roll your cursor over a person’s tweet. On the right-hand side of their tweet, you’ll see a star and an arrow. Clicking on the star will favorite the tweet. Clicking on the arrow will put @aussiegirl in your tweet bar – and you can then type your message to that person.
